"The more a person has Knowledge, the more he lives in peace." (Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, Likutey Moharan I, 56)
Comment: The absence of peace is the situation where there is a difference between what we want and what we have. Do we want our children to be wise and disciplined? Their confusion and lack of attention they give us put us on the nerves! Do we want a high salary? The check we receive each month saddens us! In all these types of situations, we live in edginess, stress ... because we do not get what we want.
On the other hand, the person who has Knowledge (who knows that G-d created the world and manages it) sees the Divine Presence in every moment of his life. He knows that everything is wanted by Heaven and that no aspect of his life is left to chance, luck ... Therefore, the events that fill his life are taken for what they are: heavenly messages that teach him the path of rapprochement with the Divine. Thus, regardless of their nature, these events are always accepted with joy and peace!
